Michele Banks is an artist from the DC area who does some amazing science watercolor paintings. She’s just recently done an amazing piece of neurons (above). You can visit her page here on Makers Market and can even purchase one of her incredible paintings. As soon as I can save up enough, I plan to purchase one for myself. I think she’s come up with a really clever way to present science and shows a unique artistic perspective of ever beautiful neurons. She’s picked several types of neurons to paint here and done a marvelous job of it. I just wanted to share her gorgeous work and extend the love of neuroscience (it’s not just for the artistically impaired people like me!).
